Garwood to Host Memorial Day Ceremony on South Avenue

Memorial Day will be marked in town at the Knights of Columbus. Event organizers say residents can attend a remembrance for fallen military members. The memorial will be held on Monday at noon (following the Cranford Memorial Day Parade). To take part just show up at the Knights of Columbus located at 37 South Ave. For more information call: 908-789-9809.

To commemorate Memorial Day many local facilities are closed on Monday. The Garwood Library, Post Office, A.L.J High School and Lincoln School will not open for the federal holiday. Banks are also closed on Memorial Day.
