Parking Concerns Heard at Garwood Planning Meeting

At a recent planning board meeting concerns were raised about potential parking woes at the future Y location at the shuttered Washington School on Garwood’s Southside. A resident of Locust Avenue said he predicted the impact to immediate neighborhood would be negative, according to a report in the Westfield Leader.
Others said the parking situation would be manageable and cited the benefits the Y will bring to the community, the report says.
