In Print: Garwood Police to Crack Down on Drunk Drivers

If you're over the limit- you will be placed under arrest. That's the warning from Garwood Police from December 6th through January 2nd. The borough's police department is participating in a statewide campaign to conduct more sobriety checkpoints, according to a report on nj.com.

In 2009, 185 people in New Jersey were killed as a result of alcohol related crashes — accounting for 31% of the reported traffic fatalities in the state, according to the report.

Cranford is also taking part in the program.
