Storm Knocks out Power in Garwood, Floods Center Street
Ms. Irene did a number of the borough this weekend. In the wake of the Hurricane some of the town remained without power on Monday. Published reports say Garwood Police estimate it will be two to four days until power is completely restored.
The Center Street underpass, a Zone A flood area, was filled with water during the storm and remains closed.
