Census: Garwood's Foreign-Born Population Increased by 5%


The borough of Garwood is now home to more foreign born residents, according to new census estimates gathered between 2005 and 2009. 


15% of Garwood residents were born outside of the United States, that's up 5% since the 2000 census.


Garwood's population is estimated to be 4,204. For more interesting census maps check out the NY Times.

  1. If you are going to comment on the school using the word "schools" when they have only one now, you should probably check your spelling. Foreign, not foregin.
