Garwood Home to Slightly More Households Earning $200,000


There are slightly more "rich" households in the borough, according to the latest Census estimates compiled between 2005 and 2009. The number of households making more than $200,000 is up 1% in Garwood, data shows.


Despite the small bump in high income earners the median household income for borough residents is down 1% to $67, 444, according to census data. 


Westfield saw huge increases in the number of households making more than $200,000. Cranford also saw an increase in rich households.
