Poll: Hands Off Our LibraryThe results for the 365 poll that touched off a bit of a firestorm are in. 70% of readers say the library is NOT a waste of money and should remain open. Only 30% of readers voted to close the library--if that was a possible way to save money.
The poll drew heavy fire from some readers who said the poll was nonsensical since the town is mandated to have a library for its schools.
The Garwood library currently serves as both a school facility and the free library for the borough.
