Election Day 2009: Council Seats at Stake

Garwood residents will head to the polls on Tuesday to cast votes in local, county and state contests (including Corzine v. Christie v. Daggett).

Locally, 2 council seats are up for grabs.

Republican James Matheson and Timothy Hak are taking on incumbent Democrats Kathleen Villaggio and Keith Sluka.

Currently Garwood remains a "blue" town with Democrats holding a majority in the Borough's Council.
