Garwood Holds Ongoing Collection for Hurricane Sandy Victims

The victims of Hurricane Sandy will getting some extra help thanks to the efforts of the Garwood Knights of Columbus. The Knights are collecting canned and dry foods, toiletries, cleaning supplies, diapers, and sternos. The Knights also say those who want to help out have the option to make monetary donations as well for the purchase of gift cards.


Donations can be dropped off weekdays after 4:00pm at the Knights Hall, 37 South Ave. Garwood. (Opposite PathMark). Parking available behind the building off Willow Ave.(Turn at Marty Shoes) Please use side door entrance. Weekends please call first. Checks should be made out to "The Garwood KofC Hurricane Sandy Fund", att Keith Gallagher. Due space limitations, no clothes will be accepted, organizers say.
