Mainstay of Downtown Garwood to Say Goodbye this Month

The Sew and Show store in Downtown Garwood has been a destination in Union County for years. But, the shop's owner has announced she's calling it quits. And with an understated retirement sale that runs through October 30th Sew and Show will take its final bow on North Avenue at the end of the month.

The store was famous for custom fabrics, dress making and for offering sewing and quilting classes. It was also a 'must stop' for soon-to-be Brides looking for one of a kind veils.

On its website the shop boasts that "Maria DeLuca will give you private lessons to help you learn how to work your sewing machine."
