At Garwood's Kennedy Plaza, JFK's Birthday is Quietly Remembered

Many places in New Jersey are named in honor of President John F. Kennedy. In Downtown Garwood, Kennedy Plaza is the home of a small understated 'memorial' place-mark.

Kennedy Plaza was created when Center's Street underpass was built for the Raritan Valley Line.

JFK was born May 29, 1917.
