Wine is Putting Garwood on the Culinary Map

Garwood is not currently known as a restaurant row. It's currently unmentioned in published Zagat guides, and no Jersey tour book would ever detour you to the borough to enjoy a culinary treat.

But, that may change.

In New Jersey Monthly's annual look at the state's 'best' Rosie's on North Avenue won for Best Wine Bar in the Garden State. Rosies beat out 16 Prospect Street in Westfield and other notable places around the state including ones in Princeton, Rumson, and Long Branch.

The magazine points out that the owner, Joshua Roseberg, has incredible enthusiasm for food and wine.

Hey Zagat: Need directions to Garwood?
