Garwood Celebrates Dia de Los Muertos

The Garwood Library is giving families in town the chance to learn about, and experience, Mexico's Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on Thursday at 3:15pm.

Library officials say the unique event will give the borough a quick overview of the ancient Mexican Holiday that celebrates the lives of friends and relatives who are no longer alive.

Kids can also take part in painting their own Calaveras, and everyone can enjoy authentic Mexican fare.

Registration is required, call 908-789-1670.
