Auxiliary Group to Hold Clothing Drive in Garwood for Needy

Garwood proves time and again its got a big heart (maybe a good addition to the borough seal). This time its the Ladies Auxiliary of the Garwood Fire Department. The group will be holding a clothing drive on Saturday, September 29th at the Garwood Fire Department. The ladies will be collecting gently used clothing from 8 a.m. to noon. Organizers say the clothes are being collected for underprivileged countries.

Do you have items lining around your house? Couldn't sell them at the Town-Wide Yard Sale? Bring them on over!


The following items are sought: Shoes, stuffed animals, handbags, linens, men’s, women’s and children’s clothing. Also, small hard toys that will fit in a 24x24x21 box.
