Mayor Q Slams Leader and Councilmember in Letter to Editor

SLAMMED

Mayor Patricia Quattrocchi was perturbed about a recent article she read in the paper. In a letter to the Editor printed in the Westfield Leader she slammed the paper for running an article with misleading comments and inaccurate information. The Mayor’s complaints stemmed from an article about the Athletic Field Complex. She fumed that “this kind of reporting creates an unfair perception for the public.”
She blamed Councilman James Mathieu in-part for the situation, the letter says. The paper did not print a response to the Mayor or the Councilman.
