Vehicle Burglaries Reported in Garwood's Northside

Lock your car
The target: unlocked cars. Garwood Police are investigating a recent rash of burglaries in the Northisde section of town. Thieves entered unlocked cars taking GPS units and other items, according to a report on nj.com. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 908-789-1500. Police are also advising residents to lock their vehicles.

This is not the first time thieves have targeted cars in the Northside community. It was reported back on December 23, 2009 that unlocked cars had been hit leading to Christmas. In that incident, GPS systems were also stolen, along with other items.
