Crossing Guards Speak-Out at Garwood Council Meeting


They are used to stopping cars, trucks and vans, but Garwood's crossing guard were trying to stop something far different at a recent council meeting. Several crossing guards came to voice their objections to their possible loss of unemployment benefits, according to a report. The borough currently has 11 crossing guards that collect the benefits.
