Southside of Garwood Braces for Possible Flooding from Irene

Even if Hurricane Irene doesn't score a direct hit on New Jersey, the torrential downpours forecasted could lead to problems in the borough, especially on the Southside, in and around the Brook.

According to borough officials residents in the flood zone areas above should be prepared for potential flooding.

Residents should also expect flooding at the Center Street underpass in Downtown, a chronic flood location.

BE PREPARED
