No Midnight Mass at Garwood's St. Ann's Church, Moved to 10pm

For many Catholics midnight is a traditional time to celebrate Christmas. But, this year St. Ann's Church is replacing its 12 a.m mass early Christmas morning with a 10 p.m mass on Christmas Eve, according to Church officials.

Some suspect the change may be because of the poor showing at last year's midnight celebration which was barely full, according to those who attended. Last year, one person commented online, "When it came time to offer the Sign of Peace to one another the closet person to me was two pews away."

Others say the Mass of Midnight is just too late for families with young children.

ST. ANN'S MASS SCHEDULE:

Vigil of Christmas- 5:30 p.m.
