Four of Garwood's Dodos

File it under fun facts. Garwood was once home to an Elm Avenue, Sycamore Avenue, Forest Avenue and Park Avenue.

In this map from 1923 the streets south of South Avenue were in order: Willow, Myrtle, Spruce, and Locust, same as 2010. But, south of Locust was the now extinct names of Elm, then Sycamore, then Forest, then Park.

Hickory Avenue wasn't even a glimmer in Garwood's eye yet.

Fun Facts:
Elm Avenue = Beech Avenue
Sycamore Avenue = Pine Avenue
Forest Avenue = Hazel Avenue
Park Avenue = Hemlock Avenue
No street in '23 = Hickory Avenue
