GARWOOD — Superintendent Dr. Teresa Quigley warned school board members that unpopular decisions will be made regarding the 2010-11 budget.

Starting in January, the school board will begin to configure its 2010-11 budget. Over a four-month period, decisions will be made regarding financial issues pertaining to the Garwood schools, including educational programs, school supplies, building repairs, and staff salaries. According to Quigley, the board is bracing itself “for tough financial times in 2010.” Less state funding for schools is expected.
