Annual Garwood-wide Yard Sale Returns Sept. 22 and 23

Welcome to Bargain-wood!

Oh to be a bargain shopper in Union County in September! You're in luck, Garwood is for sale again as residents take to the front porches for the 16th Annual Garwood Town-Wide Yard Sale. Borough officials say the "small town with a big heart" is ready to offer up deals to anyone that wants to come shop. The yard sale starts at 9 a.m on Saturday the 22nd. Saturday's sales will run from 9 am thru 4 pm. And if you can't make it on Saturday- no worries. Residents will also be selling their wares on Sunday September 23rd.

As in the past, organizers are asking shoppers and residents to refrain from sales or browsing before the 9 am start time. A list of participants and a map will be available at borough hall in Downtown on the days of sale. For out-of-towners borough hall is located at the corner of Center Street and South Avenue in the heart of Garwood. Residents say they are hoping for great weather!
