Garwood Refutes Data Released by NJ.COM, Saying Numbers Inflated

NJ.com released a comprehensive statewide map recently to document the damage from Superstorm Sandy. But, according to Garwood officials the stats for the borough are wrong and extremely inflated in the cases of businesses hurt by the storm.

While the map proclaims 312 businesses were impacted by the storm and no homes, Garwood police say about half a dozen homes and businesses took a hit from Sandy. A big difference. See Map. See Original Story.
