Garwood's Crossroads to Collect Blankets for the Homeless
Bring a blanket to Crossroads on December 12 and get free admission to its special Blank-Fest charity show featuring a slew of Jersey rock bands.
The festivities get underway at noon. Other donations will be accepted including cash and jackets, organizers say. Blank-Fest is an event aimed at keeping the homeless warm through its collection and distribution of blankets. All proceeds from the benefit concert will be distributed throughout the state at Project Homeless Connect and Union County, according to local officials.
