Garwood Received FEMA Help for Road and Bridge Repairs
So far the borough has received $660 to complete road and bridge repairs after Hurricane Sandy, a relatively small amount in public assistance compared with many other municipalities in the state, that's according to a new preliminary compilation of records recently released by the Star Ledger.
Public assistance grants are issued to municipalities, counties and state and local agencies to assist with disaster recovery, the report says. The data is current to April 25, and will be updated, the report says.
