Garwood’s ALJ Highlights Web Dangers to Students with Presentation
A certified police officer and professional speaker Detective Sgt. Thomas Rich recently spoke at Garwood’s ALJ High School in Clark about ways to stay safe online. The presentation touched on the inherent dangers of Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites frequented often by students, according to a report in the school’s Crusader Student Newspaper.
According to the student-run paper the Sergeant’s message resonated with those in attendance. Rich speaks at various events nationwide and has a website which offers resources for parents and students.
