Mayor: New Jersey Transit Cooperating with Garwood
Garwood's largest asset is its train station and its future as a transit village destination hinges on a very simple variable. More trains=Easier Commute=More Viable Community.
To that end, Garwood's Mayor says New Jersey Transit is working to get more trains to the borough, according to a report in the Cranford Chronicle. “They are being cooperative and amenable to listening to our needs,” Mayor McCarthy said. “They’ve increased the stops, but we’re working on more, and have made progress.”
