With Flu Season somewhere over the horizon CVS on North Avenue is offering in-store flu shots. To make an appointment use their online scheduling service or do it in-person at the store. If you recall, last year H1N1- Swine Flu was all the rage and doses of flu shots were in short supply. Last year the Union County Office of Health Management strongly encouraged everyone, including kids, to get flu shots. As always, consult with your doctor first.
Last flu season saw the emergence of the 2009 H1N1 influenza virus. This virus caused the first influenza pandemic in more than 40 years, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
