GARWOOD — A cut in state funding has the school district of Garwood about $11,000 short of what is needed to run the district until the end of the school year, board members said.
Offering a snapshot of the district’s financial outlook, Board of Education member Susan Groening and School Business Administrator William Muzzio said the decision by Gov. Chris Christie to freeze state aid for all school districts put Garwood in the hole.
