Here we go again

Mother Nature missed Garwood in the last snow storm, but for good measure she's swinging around the block and trying again.

A major blizzard is expected on Wednesday with heavy accumulations, dangerous winds and impassable roads.

Expect to see school closures and delays on NJ Transit, forecasters say.

Garwood's DPW, as usual, is up for the challenge. The DPW got excellent marks from residents during the last substantial snow storm. By contrast, the streets in neighboring Westfield were not nearly as safe as the blocks of Garwood.
